Delivering this website
To establish a connection, the server processes your IP address, request time, requested URL and technical information sent by your browser. The purposes are to deliver the website, diagnose faults and prevent abuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation.
There is no separate access log recording every landing-page visit. Infrastructure operational, diagnostic or security logs may contain technical information, including IP addresses. These logs use size-limited rotation and are kept for as long as needed to investigate faults or security events. Information that is no longer needed is removed during regular operational reviews; relevant incident records may be kept until the investigation is complete.
Contacting us by email
We process the sender’s name and email address, message, requested dates, attachments and delivery-related email information to answer your question and handle the discussion you requested. For rental enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. For other general questions, it is Article 6(1)(f): our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Email contact is voluntary. We need a reply address to answer you. You do not have to provide your name, email or payment details to use the interest button. An enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing or an automated newsletter.
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and its justified continuation. We regularly review whether closed enquiries still need to be kept and delete information when no further administrative, statutory or legal-claims purpose remains. No automatic mailbox purge based on a fixed number of days is currently in place. Documents related to an actual contract or dispute are assessed separately.
Cookies and local preferences
The landing page uses no analytics or advertising cookies, login session or external font service. Your language choice is reflected in the URL; we store no separate language identifier.
If you disable measurement here, we save only the umami.disabled = 1 opt-out preference in your browser’s local storage. It is not a visitor identifier and serves only to remember the privacy choice you requested. Removing an opt-out does not enable analytics while website-wide measurement is disabled. It applies to this website in this browser until you remove it or clear your browser data. Opting out prevents future measurement; it does not erase previous statistics.
Audience measurement
We use self-hosted, cookie-free Umami audience measurement.
We measure where visits come from and whether visitors use the enquiry options. Only views of the Hungarian and English home pages, availability-dialog opens and email-link clicks are recorded. A page view is not a unique person, a dialog open is not a booking, and an email click is not a sent message or confirmed rental.
The data sent are the home-page path and fixed title, external referring domain, browser language and screen size, plus the event name, page language and button placement for clicks. We exclude URL parameters and fragments, full referring paths, message text, names, email addresses and custom customer identifiers. Legal pages contain no tracker. There is no screen recording, session replay, advertising profile or performance measurement.
Connections to analytics.ri-webstudio.eu necessarily transmit an IP address and browser information. Umami derives statistical sessions, approximate location and device information on the server; it does not store the IP address in the analytics database. The landing page stores no persistent visitor identifier in the browser. Statistical visitor counts are not precise counts of identifiable people.
The selected legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in assessing demand and improving this website. Measurement is restricted to the two pages and minimal data described above. We respect Do Not Track and provide the browser-specific opt-out below. Being cookie-free does not in itself remove data-protection obligations.
Our Umami runs on the Hetzner VPS. A monthly deletion job removes analytics records older than 13 months; because it runs monthly, a record may remain in the active database for almost 14 months. Daily database backups are retained for 30 days, so final removal from backups can take up to a further 30 days. A separate website ID keeps this website’s statistics separate from other websites.
You can disable measurement for this browser here.
